New iPhone Photo Apps from Corel

Corel has just introduced some new photo software for iPhone, iPad and Mac/PC users.
First up – Slingshot – is a free photo-sharing app for iPhone users. With Slingshot you can share images from the program to Facebook or email to pre-selected groups of family and friends. All the photos you take in Slingshot are backed up in a private Facebook album as well.
Before Slingshot sends your iPhone photos into the world it automatically boosts the contrast and re-sizes them for faster delivery too.
Next up: PostCard, another free app that lets you turn photos into real postcards, which you can mail to anyone from within your phone for $0.99 (your first card is free). You can customize your card with your own text and it’s printed on heavy card stock and mailed within 24 hours of placing your order. There’s delivery tracking too, so you can be sure it got where it needed to go.
The PostCard app works with existing photos in your iPhone’s album or you can snap a new image to use with your phone. You can do some basic cropping and use your phone’s contacts to add mailing information.
QuickSort is a free app for Macs or PCs that organizes your photos and lets you quickly link them to Facebook. You can create customized keyboard shortcuts for controlling the program.
The last one is not strictly photo-related but it’s still pretty cool – it’s called Beep Beep and it turns iPads into virtual coloring books. It’s free so if you have younger kids and don’t mind turning over the iPad for a few hours, it might be fun to play with.
