Cooliris Updates LiveShare Photo-Sharing Service

LiveShare, a photo-sharing service from Cooliris, has just been updated with a new user interface. LiveShare lets users share multiple photos in a single, realtime stream via the web or mobile phones (including the iPhone, Android and Windows 7 smartphones). The update adds a few more enhancements to the service, including the ability to let non LiveShare users view photo streams sent to them via email or SMS. They’ve also added user profiles, so you can track the streams you’ve created and manage your account.
Finally, and perhaps most significantly, they’ve created a public stream option. This allows you to create URL to a specific photo stream that can be shared (via email and/or social networks like Facebook). Anyone who gets that link can add pics to the stream. This function is only available for Web users only, but Cooliris says it will be added to their mobile app shortly.
